The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan hereby announces a competition for the position of the Assistant at the acdemic departure of Bionics in the field of Landscape Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design.

To participate, contenders must comply with the requirements quoted in the bill of 20 July 2018

Higher Education and Science Law (J.L. from 2018, position 1668) and § 83 i § 99- 109 of the UAP Statute.

Candidates should

• hold a Master's degree
• have documented artistic achievements in the field of Fine Arts, conservation of Works of Art (especially in the field of Design and Landscape Design)
• speak English fluently

Pedagogical experience and team work will be an asset.

Eligibility criteria

The complete set of application documents has to be brought or sent via regular post to the Office of the Dean of the Faculty
of Architecture and Design at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan, Plac Wielkopolski
9 Street, room 410, building C. , 61-746 Poznan until 6 March 2024 (Wednesday) untill 12p.m. Date of receipt will apply.

Selection process

The competition will consist of:
• presentation of Candidate's works (or their documentation), particularly in the field of the job offer
• interview
The Competition Committee will assess candidates' knowledge in the field of the arts, artistic achievements, teaching skills and will select one candidate that will be offered the position of the Assistant at the academic department of Bionics at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The Committee reserves the right to declare the competition unresolved.

Additional comments

The interviews will be held on 11 March 2024 (Monday) at 10:00 in room 408, building C, Plac Wielkopolski 9 Street, 61-746 Poznań.

The person selected in the course of the competition will be required to obtain an appropriate certificate of the ability to perform work at a given position. In the absence of such a certificate, the University reserves the right to choose the person who ranked second in the competition.

The competition will be resolved on the day of the interview on 11 March 2024 (Monday) in room 408, building C, Plac Wielkopolski 9 Street, 61-746 Poznań. The Candidates will be informed about the results in person.

The Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan reserves the right to invite to the interview and to notify about the final result of the interview only the selected candidate. The decision on the employment of a candidate is the exclusive and sovereign matter of the University of the Arts Poznan and does not require justification.
