Offer Description
- Performing diagnostic tests as part of service and monitoring studies
(flotation/coproscopic methods, SCT, PCR, qPCR) and analysis of the obtained results ;
- Participating in proficiency testing for echinococcosis
- Keeping documentation of the performed research;
- preparing reports on the scope of conducted activities;
- Molecular identification of parasites, genetic analysis;
- development of new molecular diagnostic methods in many directions of veterinary parasitology;
- undertaking scientific and research work, including publication of the results of one's work in reputable scientific journals, as well as active participation in scientific conferences and congresses;
- Participating in activities related to the functioning of the management system at Dept. of Parasitology;
- Constantly improving one's qualifications through participation in domestic and foreign training courses

Skills/Qualifications
- knowledge of English at a level enabling use from scientific literature;
- minimum 3 conference/congress reports
- a minimum of 2 publications from the JCR list or from outside the JCR list (a journal included in the list of the Minister of Science and Higher Education) or the number of scientific monographs or chapters in a monograph published in a publishing house that was included in the list of publications of the Minister of Science and Higher Education in the year of publishing the monograph
- Hirsch index according to WoS – min. 5
- total IF – min. 25
Specific Requirements
- Proven training and teaching activity or scientific lecture (oral presentation presenting a specific research topic or results of own research conducted or the state of the art in a given area of science - min. 1 lecture)
- knowledge of a modern foreign language confirmed by an appropriate document, certifying the knowledge of this language at a language proficiency level of at least B2
- appropriate resolution of the doctoral subject confirming the appointment of a supervisor, the title of the dissertation and a detailed plan of the dissertation
- Experience and readiness in performing techniques related to parasitological testing and parasite identification (flotation, sedimentation, SCT, PCR, qPCR);
- Experience in the development, validation and preparation of parasitological methods;
- Experience in developing molecular methods to identify parasites;
- Knowledge of echinococcosis diagnosis in animals and experience in practical performance of echinococcosis diagnostic methods confirmed by participation in proficiency tests
- At least 5 years of experience working in a parasitological reference laboratory

(2) The Administrator shall process your personal data on the basis of applicable laws, for:
- the purpose of conducting the current recruitment procedure for the selected position (Art.6.1.a RODO).
Your personal data will be stored for a period of no more than 3 months after the deadline for submission of offers. After the expiration of this period, they are destroyed in a manner that prevents their reconstruction.
You have the right to access the content of your personal data (including the right to obtain a copy of such data) and the right to rectify (amend), erase or restrict processing, and the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability (applies to automated processing of data based on your consent or a contract concluded with you). The headquarters of the State Veterinary Institute - National Research Institute is covered by
a monitoring system. The monitoring is used as part of the Administrator's legitimate interest, to protect property and ensure security. The source of data is the cameras of the monitoring system. Processing of data obtained from video surveillance is carried out by: recording, storing, viewing, sharing and deleting them, regardless of the nature of the medium on which they are recorded. The places covered by the video surveillance have been visibly marked in accordance with applicable laws. Recipients of recorded personal data will be only entities authorized to obtain personal data under the law. The storage period for the data obtained from the monitoring, after which it is destroyed in a manner that prevents its reconstruction, is: 30 days from the date of recording - for cameras covering the residential part of the WCKP building, the new laboratory building, the ABSL3 multipurpose building and the waste storage area; 37 days from the date of recording - for cameras covering the reception area of the PIWet-PIB and the circulation path on the first floor of segment A of the Institute's building;13 days from the date of recording - for other cameras. A person registered by the monitoring system has the right to request from the Administrator access to personal data, the right to rectify, delete or restrict processing. A person recorded by the monitoring system has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
