Applications are invited from those who fulfil the statutory requirements specified in the Higher Education Act from 20th July 2018 (Dz. U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.

  • a.) PhD in biology or in the related disciplines or
  •           b.) having the chances to complete PhD studies in the academic year 2022/2023 with the perspective to obtain PhD in life        sciences or in psychophysiology or evolutionary psychology and having at least

  • Scientific publications in the last few years.
  • Conducted research must fall within the discipline of biological sciences.
  • Teaching experience.
  • Good knowledge of Polish and English.
  • Responsibilities:

  • In the research area:
  • Conducting the research studies in human biology area.

  • In the teaching area:
  • Teaching activities for UWr students.

  • In the organizational area:
  • Participating in all other department activities (e.g. organizational or science popularization).

    The application for the competition should include:

  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment (PERSONAL DATA FORM FOR EMPLOYMENT APPLICANT ).
  • A copy of the applicant’s PhD diploma.
  • Written declaration that in case of employment of a candidate, the University of Wrocław will be his or her primary place of work (Workplace statement UWr ).
  • Declaration as to the discipline in which the candidate will conduct research, and in the case of people conducting research in more than one discipline: the percentage of their involvement in each of these disciplines (/Scientific discipline declaration ).
  • Self-presentation containing the characteristics of the scientific and teaching experiences as well as the description of other achievements.

    Self-presentation clearly indicating how the candidate meets the call requirements, referring separately to the criterion of scientific activity, the criterion of international cooperation and the criterion of organizational activity.

  • List of scientific publications of the candidate for a period not exceeding 10 years.
  • Electronic versions of the two most important publications (or manuscripts of unpublished works) that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements, or an explanation of the lack of them, assuming that the Chairman of the Recruitment Committee may expect all or selected scientific publications or other documents to be submitted.
  • The Chairman of the Committee reserves the right to ask candidates to provide copies of additional documents required for the evaluation of the candidature.
