DESCRIPTION (topics, expectations, notes):

1.    An applicant must be a person who:

  • meets the requirements specified in Article 113 of  20 July 2018 law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2021 item 478);
  • has a PhD;
  • has some academic achievements in information technology;
  • has certified experience in higher education;
  • has the knowledge of Polish to the extent that is possible to conduct classes with students;
  • communicative knowledge of the English language.

2.    The application should include the following:

•      a written statement on the applicant’s motivation for applying for the post addressed to the Rector of The Mazovian University in Płock;

•      curriculum vitae;

  • personal data form;
  • an personally authenticated copy of the obtained doctoral degree;
  • list of scientific publications;
  • copies of documents confirming the course of professional work;
  • a statement that the Mazovia University in Plock will be the primary place of work
  • declaration of knowledge of English on a communicative level;
  • a declaration concerning the applicant’s meeting the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Higher Education and Science Act dated 20 July 2018 (https://mazowiecka.edu.pl/dla-pracownikow-2/ );

Selection process

All the application documents are required to be either sent by post or delivered personally in a sealed envelope (annotated "Konkurs nr 1 na stanowisko adiunkta  na  Wydziale Nauk Humanistycznych i Informatyki w Akademii Mazowieckiej w Płocku") To the address: The Mazovian University in Plock, 09-402 Płock, Plac Dąbrowskiego 2, General Chancellery, room B205  (second floor) from Monday until Friday between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. Candidates whose applications are not accepted by the Contest Committee will not be notified of the job contest results. Winning the competition does not guarantee employment. In the case of submitting a competitive offer by post, the date of receipt by the university is decisive, not the date of the postmark. The Committee also reserves the right to declare the job contest invalid without giving any reason.
