Offer Description

The selected candidate employed as an assistant will be required to conduct teaching activities in the discipline of legal science. In addition, the candidate's responsibilities will include active participation in related activities with the functioning and promotion of the Department of Administration. Didactic activity to the extent specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668), art. 127, point. 1.2, point 6.1, point 7, will take place within the field of law and others, depending on the needs of the fields of study.

Teaching duties:

The selected candidate will teach classes at the Faculty of Humanities and Administration of the Academy of Piotrków, related to the position of an assistant within the workload specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668), art. 127, point. 1.2, point 6.1, point 7, for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postgraduate studies resulting from the curriculum, including cooperation with domestic and foreign external stakeholders.

Organizational duties:

organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops; participation in university, faculty, and institute committees and other undertakings related to the process of educating students.

Skills/Qualifications

Requirements:
1. A master's degree in management.
2. Experience in scientific work at the institutional level, additionally obtaining a doctoral degree in the field of social sciences in the near future.
3. Experience in teaching activities in the discipline of legal sciences.
4. At least 5 published scientific publications (preferred chapters in monographs) or post
conference studies.
5. Active participation in scientific conferences. Active participation in conferences, symposia, seminars, etc. (including passive participation in at least 10 and active participation in at least 5 conferences), possibly by invitation.

6. Experience in organizing scientific projects (conferences, congresses, symposia, etc.),
7. Experience in editing rated scientific texts and journals (for example, performing the duties of an editorial secretary of a magazine from the list of the relevant minister),

Selection process

The participant entering the competition is obliged to prepare and timely settle the documentation related to the teaching process.
The candidate entering the competition is obliged to submit a statement that the Academy in Piotrków Trybunalski will be the main place of work. The candidate is obliged to conduct scientific activity in the field of scientific research and development works under the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of February 22, 2019 on the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity, § 8. The candidate is obliged to submit a report to the Director of the Institute by August 31, 2024 from published scientific achievements.
The result of the competition is not tantamount to establishing an employment relationship with the Academy of Piotrków. The final employment decision will be made by His Magnificence Rector, without the need to justify it.
