Position of an assistant in a group of research and teaching staff in the field of social sciences in the discipline of economics and finance, at the Department of Political Economy, in the Subdepartment of Institutional Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Finance.

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in the Act on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 (Journal of Laws 2022, item 574, as amended), as well as additional criteria, i.e.:

- completed master's studies in the field of social sciences, in the discipline: economics and finance and obtained a master's degree,

- show interest in the subject of scientific research and didactics conducted at the Department of Institutional Economics, i.e. institutional economics and economic theory,

- have a very good or good command of the English language, and in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language at an advanced level is required to the extent necessary to conduct classes at the university.

Additional Information
Selection process

Interested persons are asked to submit the following documents: 
- applications to the Rector,

- personal questionnaire and scientific curriculum vitae,

- a copy of the university diploma,

- declarations on meeting the requirements set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018. Law on higher education and science and the information clause on the processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR,

- a statement that the University of Bialystok will be the primary place of work within the meaning of the Act (Article 120 of the Act of 20/07/2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2022, item 574, as amended),

- other documents related to the conditions of the announced competition (e.g. a document confirming experience in teaching at the university, a list of publications, a document confirming the knowledge of English)

Additional comments

The evaluation committee reserves the right to conduct an interview with selected candidates in a situation where the review of documentation does not allow for an unambiguous decision.

The University of Bialystok reserves the right to cancel the competition by the Rector without giving reasons.

Not informing the candidate about the results of the competition is tantamount to rejection of his offer.

The required documents should be submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Economics and Finance of the University of Białystok, 15-062 Białystok, Warszawska 63, room 108.

The deadline for decision and announcing the results of the competition will be July 11, 2023.
