BIAŁYSTOK UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

ANNOUNCES A CONTEST FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT

in the group of RESEARCH AND TEACHING employees

in the field of social sciences

in the discipline of management and quality sciences or economics and finance

Case number: WIZ.110.4.2024

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set forth in Articles 113 and 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended), hereinafter referred to as the "Law", § 65 (1) and § 66- 68 of the Articles of Association of the Bialystok University of Technology.

Candidates entering the contest should submit, in particular, the following documents:

1) an application addressed to the Rector of the Bialystok University of Technology for employment as an assistant in the research and teaching staff group;

2) a personal questionnaire together with information on the processing of personal data (the template can be downloaded from the website www.bip.pb.edu.pl in the tab Jobs at Bialystok University of Technology - Database of forms and documents);

3) a document confirming obtaining a master's degree (field of social sciences; discipline of management and quality sciences or economics and finance; sub-discipline of financial management and accounting);

4) an autoreference on scientific, teaching and organizational achievements* a list of publications will be an additional asset;

5) statement on fulfillment of the requirements specified in Articles 113 and 116 of the Law, § 65 (1) and § 66- 68 of the Statute of the Bialystok University of Technology (template to be downloaded from the website www.bip.pb.edu.pl in the tab Jobs at the Bialystok University of Technology - Database of forms and documents);

6) a document confirming knowledge of a foreign language at the level of at least B2; in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language to the extent that allows them to prepare and conduct teaching classes;

7) Documented practical experience gained outside the university in the field of financial management or accounting;

8) (other documents, materials or information that may be relevant to the competition).

The candidate, upon employment at the Bialystok University of Technology:

1) declares that the Bialystok University of Technology will/will not be his/her primary place of work;

2) undertakes to include the Bialystok University of Technology affiliation in his/her scientific publications;

3) undertakes to declare that he/she is counted among the number of employees conducting scientific activity in the discipline ........................** and a declaration that he/she represents the discipline ................... **

Planned closing date of the competition: no later than June 30, 2024.

Documents should be submitted by May 17, 2024 to the Secretariat of the Faculty of Management Engineering,

O.S. Tarasiuka Street 2, 16-001 Kleosin; room 100 (Dean's Office building).

The University reserves the right not to settle the contest without giving any reason. The result of the contest is not equivalent to the employment of the candidate. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector of the Bialystok University of Technology.
