NOTICE OF COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION: ADJUNCT;

IN THE GROUP OF TEACHING STAFF

the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław

I hereby announce a competition for a position of a full-time adjunct in the group of teaching staff in the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław  (PWSTE).

The competition procedure is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in the Law on Higher Education of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item  574 with amendments).

Job description / responsibilities::

  • Conducting didactic classes;
  • Conducting research;
  • Preparation and implementation of scientific and commercial grants;
  • Active participation in the organizational work of the Institute;
  • Work as a psychologist in the recruitment process and / or in  the Podkarpacki Centre of Research,  Diagnosis and Therapy;
  • Qualification requirements:
    • holding a PhD degree in  the field of Social Sciences in the discipline of Psychology,
    • teaching experience to conduct didactic classes with the students,
    • academic achievement and professional experience in  Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
  •  Required documents:
    •  declaration of  the competition participant,
    • application form addressed to the Rector,
    • a certified copy of the diplomas: Master’s degree, Doctoral Degree or university degree,
    • CV and personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment,
    • DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service),
    • consent clause of job applicants,
    • extra points:
    • documents confirming scientific, didactic and organizational achievements,
    • the candidate’s statement that the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of     Technology and Economics in Jarosław (PWSTE) will be the place of primary employment in case of winning the competition.

     Please be advised that after initial verification of submitted offers interviews will be held only with selected candidates.

    The PWSTE reserves the right to cancel the competition proceedings at every stage without specifying the reasons.

    The final decision of the competition which will be announced by 12.06.2023 is not tantamount to employment of applicant in PWSTE, Jarosław. The rules of the competition procedure stipulate that it is Rector who takes the final decision.

    The PWSTE states that one of the decisive criterion for competition resolution is the presentation of lecture (exercise concept) in order to verify the didactic competence of applicants.
