    Chemistry: PhD or equivalent
    Physics: PhD or equivalent

  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Good

Skills/Qualifications

Expectations:

 

  • PhD in physical or chemical sciences,
  • confirmed knowledge of English of at least B2 level or equivalent,
  • experience in conducting research on nanoelectronic elements for neuromorphic applications,
  • experience in the fabrication of electronic thin-film elements and in the study of the electrical characteristics of adaptive elements, including artificial synapses,
  • practical knowledge of techniques for producing thin layers: magnetron sputtering, thermosublimation, pulsed PVD with a laser beam, hydrothermal synthesis, spin-coating,
  • practical knowledge of experimental techniques for the characterization of thin films (atomic force microscopy, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, XRD, profilometry, electron spectroscopy),
  • ability to perform DFT and ab initio calculations, including phonon dispersion calculations,
  • modeling of neuromorphic systems in NeuroSim packages or similar, programming skills in Python,
  • creative approach to problem solving, the ability to work in international teams, diligence and communication.
