Offer Description

(1) The following qualifications are required of candidates entering the competition
and skills:
1) doctoral degree;
2) authorship/co-authorship of at least 6 full-text scientific publications in the field of cancer biology published in peer-reviewed scientific journals included in the list of scientific journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, including one in which the candidate is the first author, equivalent first author or correspondence author, including 3 published in the last 6 years before applying for the position of assistant professor;
3) scientific achievements in research and development within the last 2 years prior to the application for employment as an assistant professor, which would entitle the candidate to receive a positive evaluation in the periodic evaluation of the scientific achievements of assistant professors, conducted in accordance with the current
Institute's Regulations for periodic evaluation of scientific and research and development achievements of scientific and research and technical staff;
4) professional experience in working with lung and thoracic cancer patients,
5) good command of the English language.

Specific Requirements

Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
1) declaration to join the competition for the position covered by the competition, together with the statement: "I agree to the processing of my personal data contained in the documents submitted by me by the Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology in Warsaw to the extent necessary for the competition proceedings, in accordance with the Act of May 10, 2018 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1781)";
2) declaration of signing statements: "I, the undersigned, declare that on the date of signing the employment contract or annex to the employment contract - employment in a scientific position, I will sign the following statements: "Statement of consent to be counted as an employee engaged in scientific activities" and "Statement of field and discipline" (field: medical and health sciences, discipline: medical sciences);
3) documents confirming professional qualifications and requirements specified in paragraph 1 of the competition announcement;
4) self-reference or curriculum vitae;
5) a list of scientific publications divided into original works, reviews, chapters in textbooks, participation in scientific grants/projects, and description of other achievements (scientific and research teaching and organizational).
