Qualification requirements :

• professional title of master of pharmacy,
• license to practice pharmacist,
• PhD degree in pharmaceutical sciences,
• the first author in at least 2 original publications published in journals or publishing houses included in the lists of the Minister of Higher Education,
• author or co-author of scientific publications published in the last two years, for which at least the ministerial score of 140 was reached in accordance with the year of publication,
• scientific achievements with an IF of at least 10,
• documented didactic and organisational activities in higher education,
• knowledge of the pharmacy software of the company KAMSOFT SA ,
• fluent computer skills and MS Office software,
• knowledge of English at the B level,
• in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing is required.

Specific Requirements

Required documents :

• a written declaration of will  to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
• a signed CV with a description of professional qualifications and the course of previous employment  (if applicable), together with the clause regarding consent to the processing of personal data,
• personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
• scientific development plan,
• copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, license to practice pharmacist, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
• other documents confirming your qualifications (a list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates held, etc.)

Required statements :

• statement of consent to process the personal data,
• a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment , according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
• statement of:

• having full legal capacity,
• enjoying full public rights,
• not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
• not being punished  with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science.

The University reserves the right not to adjudicate the competition without giving any reason.

The result of the competition is not tantamount to the employment of the candidate, but constitutes a recommendation in this respect to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
