A full-time postdoctoral position (36 months) is available in the ERC Consolidator project: „Quantum Complexity from Quantum Field Theories to Quantum Gravity”. The project is focused on quantum complexity in quantum field theories and quantum gravity.

A successful candidate is expected to conduct research on quantum complexity in quantum field theories, including time-dependent and open systems, thermalisation and quantum scars and Krylov basis approaches to complexity.

Skills/Qualifications

The candidate should hold the PhD degree in Theoretical Physics or related field, preferably not longer than 7 years. The experience with strong record of publications and international experience in one of the following topics is required: Quantum Information in Quantum Many-body and Quantum Field Theories, Quantum Complexity, The AdS/CFT Correspondence, Quantum Gravity.
