More specifically, it will address theoretical questions around the topic of noise-resistant quantum computation, and try to find application to many-body theory and information processing. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be part of the Operator Algebra group, where the work will be conducted in close collaboration with other members of the QOMBINE project.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will:

  • Look for application of the theory of tensor category and quantum groups to problems related to topological quantum computation.
  • Work in close collaboration with researchers in operator algebras, many-body theory, and quantum information theory.
  • Join a research group with broad expertise in mathematics, quantum chemistry, and theoretical physics.

The main purpose of a postdoctoral fellowship is to provide the candidates with enhanced skills to pursue a scientific top position within or beyond academia. To promote a strategic career path, all postdoctoral research fellows are required to submit a professional development plan no later than one month after commencement of the postdoctoral period.
