About the position 

The Department of Teacher Education is announcing a full-time position as post-doctoral fellow. The appointment is for a term of 2 years. This is a fixed-term position with the primary objective of qualifying for work in top academic posts. The position represents an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop his/her career and to contribute to the further development of the field.

The position is linked to the research project International Comparative Research on Vocational Education and Training connected to the research group Inequality, Welfare and Organization , led by Associate Professor Eli Smeplass .


The project focuses on generating ground-breaking research on the Norwegian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system in comparison to other countries’ training models. 
We seek a post-doctor who has good qualifications in methodology as well as theoretical knowledge related to educational systems in a comparative perspective. Relevant thematic areas are welfare and integration, organization, social relations and market mechanisms.
