About the position

We have a vacancy for an Adjunct Professor/Adjunct Associate Professor in IoT and Sensor Data Processing at the Department of Electronic Systems. The Adjunct (Associate) Professor position has a full-time equivalence of 20% and has a fixed term of up to 3 years with the possibility of employment for further periods. .

The focus area of the position is signal processing and communications with a particular emphasis on IoT and sensor data. The successful candidate needs to have deep knowledge from a scientific perspective of relevant communication theory, machine learning, and signal processing methodologies and relevant experience related to their application in 5G, IoT and sensors networks.


Research activities are expected to have a strong profile and impact in European arenas for research, with a long-term perspective and to be concentrated around European strategic topics.

The position reports to the Head of Department of Electronic Systems
