The hired person will study a new technique of transfer of the coherence of laser to another laser with a different wavelength. This technique is based on the use of an interferometer with a fiber delay line.
The laboratory ARTEMIS is a research unit of CNRS, Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur and Université Côte d'Azur. It is located at Nice on the historical site of the observatory of Nice on the Mont Gros. The research topics of the laboratory are measurement by laser interferometry and gravitational wave astrophysics.
The hired person will work with the responsable of the research project, university faculty, and a doctoral candidate.
