Position Overview

Ako Aotearoa is seeking a highly motivated Web Content and Technology Advisor who is excited about how technology maximises business operational success while enhancing customer experience and engagement.

Ako Aotearoa is New Zealand’s Centre for Tertiary Teaching Excellence.  Our mission is to work together with tertiary education providers and agencies to enhance the effectiveness of tertiary teaching and learning. Established in 2007 by a consortium of tertiary institutions, Ako Aotearoa is funded through contracts with the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and hosted by Massey University.

The successful candidate will contribute to a closely knit team in the delivery of a wide range of projects against the annual business plan. Reporting to the National Communications and Marketing Manager, the Web Content and Technology Advisor will bring:

• Excellent communication skills, including writing for web and other digital spaces
• Skills and experience in the use of digital tools, for example: Silverstripe, CRMs, event platforms, Google Analytics & Sharepoint
• Curiosity and passion for enhancing work through technology
• Sound approach to time management and prioritising workload
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Problem solving and resilience
• Knowledge of the tertiary education sector
• Drive and commitment towards success for the team and the organisation.
