Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Web Content Adviser, Helpdesk to join the Digital Engagement team in the Marketing Group on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer website helpdesk requests.
- Website training administration.
- Content assistance to the team.
- Provide technical and web best practice support and guidance to web content editors and content owners.
- Write, edit, proofread, and maintain web content.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
You will be an experienced website editor and a champion of web best practice. You will have an empathy for website users, content owners and stakeholders, and demonstrate this with a professional, courteous and empathetic approach. You have a strong attention to detail, provide constructive peer reviews, and take on peer review feedback positively.
You will effectively plan and organise your work to achieve desired outcomes, overcome obstacles, and follow through to completion. You will communicate well with a wide range of people and work cooperatively. This role is busy, challenging, extremely rewarding and interesting for the right individual.
Key Requirements:
- A passion for the web and digital communication, with experience adapting content for the web and publishing information online.
- Very strong attention to detail with demonstrable experience and knowledge of web best practice.
- An organised and flexible working style.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Good communications skills, including written, verbal and listening skill.
