NIWA is New Zealand's leading provider of climate, freshwater and oceans research and applied science services and is well known for the quality of its imagery and the extraordinary locations of much of its research.

We have a vacancy for a mid-grade or senior videographer & photographer to be part of our well-resourced team communicating some of New Zealand's most important environmental science.  

You will have 3-5 years' experience (Visual Content Producer) or 6-10+ years' experience (Senior Visual Content Producer) working as a videographer/video editor and photographer and produce excellent content for online platforms and news media, with a strong portfolio showing your video editing expertise. 

An interest in our fascinating subject matter is a must, as is advanced knowledge of video cameras and camera equipment. Experience with Sony cameras is preferred, together with a strong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
