Video Assistant - Education
Multimedia development role producing content for online courses.
Mō te tūka | The role
Create, edit & produce video, audio and supporting contenting for online courses, working alongside our Learning Teaching Library team
Some tasks of the role include:
- Creating graphics, animations, videos and other appropriate multimedia applications
- Film on locations and set up equipment
- Provide instruction & guidance in the use of multimedia in online courses
This is a fixed-term position ending December 2024, working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus. Remuneration is up to $52,000 pa.
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred)
- Experience with creating/editing original video content, and managing video & media content
- Experience with story boards, filming and editing video, and an understanding of video editing software.
- Demonstrated experience with, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.), Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Experience in using video equipment e.g., cameras, lighting
