✅ We have TWO positions at 0.91FTE (34.5 hours/week), available and these include day, evening, and night shifts. The roster is modelled on human nursing and consists of 6 days on, and 4 days off. Working the 24/7 roster qualifies you for an additional 15% bonus to your salary. 

You will work with a range of nurses, vets, and specialists, allowing an opportunity to widen your skill sets and learn heaps!  Our team aims to provide the best quality care to all our patients.  🩺 Our Emergency and Critical Care Unit is fast-paced and perfect for the nurse looking to perform advanced skills, such as: catheterisation, U-catheter placement, monitoring critical patients on ventilators, central-line care to name a few! We also have equipment such as ultrasound, CT, in-house diagnostics, onsite pathology, and much more. Our nurses' education and passions are important to us so we have yearly funds to support ongoing education and a team of 40+ nurses who are willing to help new staff gain the skills they need to succeed.

Do you have the following skills and experience? 

  • Vet Nursing/Vet Tech qualification or Diploma or above
  • Experience is desirable, Graduates will be considered
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
  • Natural empathy toward the cultural, emotional, and physical state of our clients and patients alike
  • A positive attitude and a passion for critical care and client relations
  • A genuine interest in undergraduate education
  • Eligibility to work in NZ

🎯 We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who possesses excellent communication skills, is self-motivated, super organised, and has a passion for education.  As part of Massey Vets, you will be involved in the teaching of Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Experience in GP is preferable but not essential for the right candidate.
