AUT is a contemporary university with a reputation for innovative approaches to teaching, learning and research. AUT University's Department of Physiotherapy is seeking a teaching assistant, for 0.6 FTE based on the North Shore campus in Auckland. 

We welcome applications from health care professionals with at least 5 years' experience in the work force, but current registration is not a requirement. The role is primarily a support role for programme leaders to ensure they can complete administrative jobs in a timely manner. It will not involve teaching students but will support teaching staff to enhance student experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting tertiary teaching staff in physiotherapy and will have opportunities to take on projects to further the goals of the department.

The position will be fixed term from March 2023 to Nov 2025.

Salary scale: $43,000 - $60,000 - pro rated (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
