Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
This new, exciting role of Sustainability Administrator is to provide a range of professional, high-quality, and effective administrative and project support services to support the operational requirements for the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sustainability as Lead of the University's Sustainability Strategy. As part of our strategy, UC is committed to weaving opportunities for staff and students to learn and contribute to resolving the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contribute to resolving global sustainability challenges, and improve our own environmental sustainability, in all aspects of our research, teaching and learning, campus life, community and international networking.
As the Sustainability Administrator you will provide general day-to-day administration and event management to support the PVC Sustainability Office, including co-ordination and administration for the successful completion of specifically-assigned project work.

To thrive in this role you will have significant experience in an administrative function, including proven experience co-ordinating and administering project work. Planning and coping with competing demands will therefore come naturally to you, as will maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy. You will be a collaborative worker with great initiative and have excellent interpersonal skills to match. You will be a skilled user in all Microsoft Office applications and modern office technology.
