Te āheinga: The opportunity

We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer in Supply Chain & Logistics to teach in our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will also be required to provide support within the Supply Chain & Logistics specialisation in the Master of Applied Business. This specialisation focuses on providing our students with the skills and knowledge to apply principles and analytical techniques to optimise and improve supply chain, distribution logistics, and warehouse operations.

He kōrero mōu: About you

Ideally, you will have spent time in both academia and industry and be able to bring to the classroom a combination of skills and experience that will benefit our students. You are a modern thinker, able to plan and stay ahead of trends, with a flair for leading and motivating those around you.

You're an effective communicator, who is confident speaking to small and large crowds. You'll have exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You can also work efficiently in a collaborative teaching space and are an active team player. You'll also demonstrate:

  • Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces/environments
  • Completed Masters or Doctoral qualification in relevant subject matter
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Demonstrable practical ability to lecture in a vocational education context
