Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for multiple Student Service Centre Advisers to join our newly established multi-channel service centre within Tītoko. Our Student Service Centre Advisers are responsible for delivering efficient, accurate and timely support to a wide range of customers including students, prospective students, whanau, staff, visitors, and members of the public. The Student Service Centre Advisers work collaboratively and proactively to provide the best possible support and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality advice and support on all Tier 1 related enquiries through a range of channels, including face-to-face, phone, email, and other channels.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of the University’s services and processes to support exceptional customer service.
- Assist with various Tier 1 student support activities, such as student ID cards and graduation certificates.
- Contribute to the critical knowledge database by collecting and maintaining knowledge from across the University.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service role and an appreciation of what it is like to be a student at University. You will be experienced in providing excellent customer service and possess superior relationship-building skills.
You will be highly organised and demonstrate an ability to work efficiently and collaboratively while maintaining an eye for detail and continuous improvement.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to express complex information in an accurate and concise form for a variety of audiences.
