PEER SUPPORT - GROUP FACILITATORS WANTED!

Keen to get involved in building a student community at Unitec's Waitakere Campus?

We are launching a new Akonga-led initiative to help students debrief, connect, and foster inclusive spaces at Waitakere Campus through weekly peer support meetings. We are looking for empathetic facilitators who embody whanaungatanga and manaakitanga in their practice. No experience is required, you just need to be one of our Unitec students and have an openness and willingness to learn and support your fellow students.

This is a great paid opportunity that gives you experience in group facilitation, community development and project coordination skills.

You'll need to be available for a short training period during the July semester break (times and dates to be confirmed) and co-lead two meetings, which you will be supported to prepare for and lead.

If this all sounds like something you'd like to be a part of please apply online now!

Please note: We are looking for a successful candidate to start as soon as possible. We do not always work to fixed closing dates and may start considering applications as they are received, so we encourage you to apply early.

Unitec is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and celebrate diversity and are committed to building a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
