In the Student Services Directorate, we are focussed on creating the best student experience in everything we do. Our Student Hub model delivers comprehensive support using a case management approach covering a broad range of student services from administration through to integrated pastoral care enabling students to achieve their personal and professional goals.
About the role
This role will focus on providing immigration advice and support for our diverse community of applicants and current students from undergraduate to PhD, along with understanding the holistic approach of student support in the Student Hub. You could be doing anything from providing one on one support to students to running workshops and seminars.
Skills and Experience
You will be used to operating as a trusted advisor in a professional team. You will also bring with you:
- A qualified and licenced Immigration Advisor from Immigration Advisors Authority (IAA)
- Sound insight into the workings of Immigration NZ
- A passion for supporting student success
- An ability to deliver a high quality, professional service with a culture of customer care
- An understanding of advisory support delivered via a case management model
- Strong cultural competency and experience working with a diverse population
- Familiar with tertiary education and the Immigration requirements for related visas

Salary Range: $62,030 - $89,510 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
