Student Coordinator - Admission and Enrolment x 2

Coordinate the admission & enrolment process for your own portfolio of prospective students.

Mō te tūka | The role

Seeking applications for an efficient and experienced administrator, who is passionate about providing professional customer service.

You will be responsible for coordinating the admission and enrolment process for specific portfolios of students, to achieve maximum conversation of application to graduand.

Some key tasks of the role include:

  • Admission - applications are assessed and decisions delivered formally; student success can be attributed to excellent admission decisions; applicants are converted to students; accurate admission reporting is achieved.
  • Enrolment - students are enrolled in appropriate programmes and courses, within published deadlines.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.  The remuneration range is set at $61,000 - $64,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience.

Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • At university degree, or a relevant tertiary qualification i.e. Business Administration
  • At least two years administrative experience with proven ability to manage information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Previous experience communicating important information in a professional manner to people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
  • Successful experience interpreting and administering rules and regulations.
  • Able to research information from a variety of sources to arrive at a decision or to make a recommendation.
  • Ability to organise high workloads effectively, especially in an environment when interruptions are frequent, priorities may conflict and change, and deadlines must be met.
  • Proven ability to build and foster effective relationships.
  • Experience using complex databases to manage data and communication - Peoplesoft and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or similar tools, preferred.
