Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

The role of the Strength and Conditioning Coach is to support the delivery and programming of strength and conditioning services to the Sport and Fitness Academy, UC Sport Club Teams and other groups and individuals as required. This role includes the mentoring of UC Sport Coaching interns.

Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this role you have relevant industry experience:

  • In the development and implementation of sport programmes in an education setting
  • Working with high performance athletes, at either a secondary or tertiary level.
  • Working with teams at either a school, club or high-performance level.
  • In writing and delivering strength and conditioning programmes.

You ideally hold a current First Aid Certificate and have strong interpersonal skills.

You will work with a dynamic team who are passionate about making a difference for student and staff wellbeing.  The team delivers positive and holistic health, fitness, sport and wellbeing programmes to the student community, where UC believes that sport and recreational experiences for students forms an integral component of the UC experience.
