Strategic Communications Manager

The role reports to the Director of Communications and works closely with the Head of the Vice-Chancellor's Office.

Responsibilities include:

• Development and implementation of leadership communications plans and campaigns.
• Delivering 360-degree communications to maximise awareness and reputation benefit from strategic initiatives key to the University's future success
• Supporting senior leaders to communicate effectively via media, speaking opportunities and
• Serving as an alternate on the university's Emergency Management Team.

We are looking for a colleague who is:

• A relationship builder who can work constructively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Experienced in issues management and calm under pressure.
• Able to see the strategic opportunities - and deliver tactically.
• Open-minded, open-hearted and with a sense of humour.

Salary range: $112k - $115K (dependent on experience and qualifications)
