Stores and Inventory Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our close-knit Facilities team as the Stores and Inventory Assistant. Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, this role will provide customer support in the provision of inwards and outwards delivery service to staff and tenants, as well as storage input and space assignment to material storage facility and other storage sheds across Scion's 100 building / 114-hectare site.
Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate and support provision of daily delivery and outwards services of mail, freight goods and chemicals.
- Assist with the inventory supply and issues counter service.
- Support the ongoing administration and operations of the material storage facilities.
To be successful in this role, your skills and experience will include:
- Previous experience in a stores and inventory
- Understanding of chemical and gas storage requirements and regulations, desirable (Training can be given)
- Forklift Licence
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Proven communication and collaboration skills leading to effective relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Excellent record keeping and proficiency in computer use and in smart systems eg: custom stores software
- Can-do attitude and proactive approach, with focus on problem ownership and resolution.
