Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We're seeking a dynamic Sport Coordinator to champion the promotion and growth of sports, fostering increased participation among UC students. In this role you'll develop the profile of sport and increase sport participation at UC, both at a social and competitive level. Our mission is to enhance the overall student experience within the University Tertiary Sport New Zealand competition.
Mōu | Who You Are
The desired candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of implementing dynamic sports programs within an educational setting. Your ability to thrive, whether flying solo or as part of a team, will be the key to producing great results. Attention to detail with great accuracy and organisational skills is vital, and the ability to juggle competing demands will be essential for success in this role. A full NZ Driver's licence is required, and a current First Aid Certificate is a bonus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and modern office technology is essential along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Competency in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga is an advantage.
