  • The Salary Range for this role is at a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer grade (for 2024), ranging from $81,172 - $ 143,948 (NZD). Salary will be negotiable by background/experience.
 

About this role

We provide 24/7 emergency & critical care for veterinary clinics throughout the wider Manawatu-Whanganui region.  Our emergency service is primarily focused on the delivery of clinical services to clients, supporting our rotating interns, and clinical teaching to undergraduate veterinary students. Our AVMA-accredited veterinary programme is world-renowned, providing quality, research-led education. The successful applicant will provide high-quality veterinary care as part of a collaborative team of specialists, vets, nurses, interns, and students. 

You will get to interact with the surgery, medicine, radiology, and anaesthesia services.  We also utilize the greater Massey VTH resources including digital radiography, in-house computed tomography, flexible and rigid endoscopy, full ultrasound suite, fully equipped and staffed ICU, Idexx in-house laboratory, and on-site clinical and anatomical pathology laboratories, oncology suite, full surgical suites, and out-sourced magnetic resonance imaging at a local medical facility.  Journal Club, interdisciplinary rounds, staff seminars, in-house CPD, and study towards HEA fellowship are all strongly encouraged.
