Position Overview

A recent review of requirements has created an exciting and interesting opportunity for a Space & Property Coordinator (Officer) to join our National Facilities team, based on our Manawatu Campus in Palmerston North.

Facilities Management look after all facilities, delivery of capital projects, management of external and internal leases, timetabling of teaching and learning spaces, management and allocation of workspaces, asset management and investment and grounds management for all three campuses.

Our team aims to optimise the use of property by providing a whole of university approach to assisting with space allocation, property leases, licenses and property related matters, including relocation of people from buildings. As the Space and Property Coordinator, you will provide coordination and administration support to help us meet our goals.

About you:
Ideally, you’ll have a professional qualification (not defined) definitely a can-do attitude and an interest in the property industry! In addition to this:

• Highly organised with advanced administration experience.
• Self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement and self-development
• Highly developed oral and written communications skills
