Solutions Architect

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to join the Digital Architecture team in ICT in a permanent capacity.

If you have a keen analytical eye, broad technical experience, and the drive to make a difference across AUT's digital portfolio then we'd like to hear from you.

Based in ICT, you can find yourself working anywhere across the entire spectrum of AUT's operations; analysing, evaluating and recommending digital solutions that address real business problems, maximising AUT's digital investment, or delivering new digital capabilities.

Working as a member of the Digital Architecture Team, your key accountabilities will be: 

• Developing solution options, designs, reference models and architectures
• Developing and maintaining AUT's ICT architecture
• Aligning solutions with AUT's strategic directions

You will be focussed on delivering quality solutions that deliver new or improved business capabilities.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt your communication style to suit the needs of your audience
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to listen, relate to and communicate effectively
• The use of logical analysis and related methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
• Ability to turn the creative ideas of others into practical solutions
• Minimum six years' solution implementation experience
• Customer facing experience of presenting, negotiating and influencing stakeholders
• Experienced with the architectural lifecycle combined with competent knowledge of IT capabilities and solution development.
