About the opportunity

As with all support roles at Manaaki Whenua, this full-time role is all about supporting our science outcomes. Specifically, this position supports the Site Operations Manager, who is based in Palmerston North, to ensure the efficient running of our Wellington Site.

Our team is all about promoting and implementing efficient and effective (best practice) management of site operations, and you will work with Science & Support leaders, staff, and key suppliers to provide:  

  • Fully compliant contractor management, emergency management, and site related HSE compliance systems and/or
  • Fully compliant procurement processes with a focus on the procurement process at a transactional/tactical level.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems and processes utilised by site operations, possibly on a national level.
  • Deliver customer satisfaction by executing agreed services, processes, and procedures to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
  • Administrative and coordination support to our Wellington staff and CRI/Science tenant partners

About you

The person best suited to this position will demonstrate strong administrative and people skills with the ability to forward plan, prioritise and get things done in liaison with others through influence and coordination.
