We have an exciting opportunity for a Services Manager to join our Estates team and take day to day control and supervisory management of the delivery of a range of facilities services across all AUT's three Auckland Campus sites.
You will be responsible for key service contracts including office cleaning, washroom servicing, waste management & recycling, building washes & window cleaning. You will also be responsible for contract management and auditing, gap analysis, profit and loss, long term budgeting and capital asset renewal requirements. You will also be rostered within the Estates Duty Manager duty roster working10am - 6.30pm and on call afterhours one week every 2 to 3 months, all to support a highly performing team which is leading the way in delivering a first-class learning environment for the university and our students and staff.
What experience and skills do you need?
- At least 3 years' proven experience in property management, events and hospitality operations or facilities management with demonstrated ability in contract management and be looking to take your next step
- Strong customer service ethic with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a large portfolio
- Analysis will be one of your strengths and have a curious mind with a genuine willingness to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and customers to achieve understanding and action
- An organised nature and a desire to plan for success
- Proven experience in influencing and relationship management with an ability to balance and manage diverse stakeholder interests
- Flexibility and openness for a challenge

Salary Range: $70,000 - $96,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
