AUT University School of Art & Design - Printing technical facilities
AUT's School of Art + Design is one of New Zealand's largest providers of Art + Design education. We currently engage with approximately 1300 students, and offer programmes of study from a multi-discipline Design Degree, and a Visual Arts degree, through to Master's and Doctoral level post-graduate study.
The School is seeking a Screen Printing, Etching, Lithography, and Dry Printing Senior Technician to provide valuable assistance to staff and students to ensure they achieve their learning objectives and receive a positive and memorable experience in using the Printing Facilities. Increasingly this facility is being used in conjunction with the Bindery Press Publication and Photography areas and supports hybrid and innovative uses of technology across other technical facilities.
Tertiary education is a diverse and rewarding work environment. You will be working with a range of students, staff, and external clients, varied requirements, and unusual teaching and research projects. We are looking for a capable person who has a tertiary qualification (certificate/diploma/degree) or industry qualification/experience appropriate to the level required to perform the job effectively and efficiently.
This role involves providing valuable technical assistance to staff and students to ensure they achieve their learning objectives and receive a positive and memorable experience in using the Print Technical Facilities on WE Level 7.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $92,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
