__________ DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL MEDICINE, DUNEDIN | TE TARI WHAKAORA HINENGARO TANGATA The Role | Te mahi The Department of Psychological Medicine (Dunedin) advances psychological medicine through the integration of academic and clinical expertise in psychiatry, clinical psychology, and health psychology. We are seeking a Teaching Fellow to contribute to teaching within the MB ChB programme, and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College’s Formal Education Course, Registrar programme, in 2027. This position will play an important role in supporting the delivery and ongoing development of the curriculum, helping to equip future medical graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional capabilities required to work effectively in the field of psychological medicine. The role includes convening responsibilities for the Year 6 programme and the Registrar Teaching programme, along with supporting teaching, assessment, and curriculum initiatives across the Department. We would consider Senior Psychiatric Registrars who are close to completing their fellowship. Further Details | Pūroko The Department is seeking to fill a total of 0.4 FTE (15 hours per week) and is open to appointing either: • One candidate at 0.4 FTE, or This is a fixed-term position from the 7th of December 2026 for the Registrar convening role, or the 18 January 2027, for the MB ChB Year 6 convening role, to 28 January 2028, based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. The salary for this position will be based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications and is expected to fall within the range of Senior Teaching & Professional Practice Fellow Practice Fellow - $109,554 to $120,528 or $148,414 to $184,993 (pro rata). • Teaching experience in the field of psychological medicine (preferable)
