Senior Lecturer - Department of Land Management & Systems

Mō te tūka | The role

Teach LWST302 in semester 1 and LWST203 course in semester 2 each year, based in the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce, Te Waihora Campus, Lincoln University.

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Advance and enhance the teaching of students.
  • Contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students' research.
  • Contribute to the wider functioning of the University.
  • Add to extension and other professional activities related to the discipline.

This is a fixed term role ending 31 December 2025, working 18.75 hours per week (0.5 FTE) based at our Lincoln campus. 

Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A completed bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, or other relevant qualifications commensurate with the role.
  • Demonstrated evidence of some successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level.
  • Demonstrated evidence of good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds.
  • Evidence of commitment to the use of technology and innovation to enhance teaching and research
