Te āheinga: The opportunity

The Infrastructure team has an opportunity for a Security Officer to join us! This is a permanent opportunity to join a team that is transforming and building for the future.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Security officer to provide a safe and secure environment for Te Pūkenga working across both of our Mount Albert and Waitakere campuses.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You'll have a positive and outgoing personality plus the ability to relate to a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

You'll also come with:

• A recognised relevant qualification in Security and/or demonstrate prior experience
• Minimum three years' work experience as a Security Officer
• Basic computer knowledge
• Intermediate level user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access desirable
• Ability to monitor and interact with security systems: CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm systems
• Full NZ driver's licence
• Previous experience covering any shift within the 24-hour period

You'll be working within a close-knit security team and will also work closely with other teams across the organisation, giving you plenty of opportunities to get to know the wider group and the Te Pūkenga national network.  As an educator, we want to grow our kaimahi too.
