Position Overview

Massey is renowned for its forward-thinking spirit, research-led teaching, and cutting-edge discoveries making Massey New Zealand’s defining university.  Ensuring our students' experience is seamless and their timetables align with physical requirements is the Space Management Team within the Operations, International and University Registrar portfolio.

The opportunity

We are seeking results-focused Scheduling Analysts who want career opportunities within a large complex team.
We have three exciting Scheduling Analyst roles available where you can bring your customer service experience in timetable development, production and maintenance.  There is flexibility of location at our three beautiful campuses, Auckland, Wellington and Palmerston North

Positions available are:

•    2 x full-time permanent positions
•    1 x fixed-term full-time position to cover maternity leave

What will set you apart from the rest?

•    Previous experience utilising timetabling/scheduling databases and software
•    High level of communication skills and be customer-centric
•    Exceptional planning, organizing and project management skills
•    High level of computer literacy including MS Office, Office365 and SharePoint 2013/2016
•    Ability to see the wider picture and work collaboratively to deliver a student-centric solution

The role is central to providing and maintaining a student-centric, cross-college, cross-campus, University timetable for all academic qualifications, which optimises the use of available, fit-for-purpose facilities.
Not for the fainthearted, we experience annual peak workloads from the end of April till August which you will be jumping straight into – are you ready for the challenge?
