Researchers from Auckland University of Technology and collaborators are undertaking a research project exploring the gambling experiences of older New Zealanders.

This research is funded by The Ministry of Health.

We are looking to recruit an experienced researcher as a Research Officer to work on this project. The successful applicant will have experience with gambling/addictions research and older people, and will work with an experienced team to ensure successful completion of the project.  The role will oversee most operational aspects of the research, including data collection and analysis.  The successful candidate will be able to work independently with the support of a team. Training and on-going supervision will be provided.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills

The successful applicant will work in partnership with the research team to actively contribute to the successful completion of all study aims and objectives.  The collaborative nature of the study will necessitate excellent working relationships with a variety of partners.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 - pro rata (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
