We now have a vacancy for an Electronics Engineer to join our research team, developing novel non-invasive blood pressure and biopotential sensing technologies. The role involves the design and development of electronics for new medical devices or families of devices. The appointee is required to work within a quality management system to ensure products account for and are validated against customer requirements and to capture documents and records necessary for regulatory approvals. The work is funded by MBIE and involves several NZ research and commercial partners.

The successful applicant should hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electronics Engineering with relevant experience in the design of medical devices and manufacturing processes. Some familiarity with the workings of ISO13485/9001 or similar quality management systems is desirable.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position with a preferred start date of February 2024. The role will be based in the City Campus and the salary level will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the applicant.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
