Position Overview

In undertaking this role, our new RDA-Māori will actively equip researchers with techniques and tools to build strong sustained relationship with Māori and to capably reflect Maori interests in research proposals. They will be a proactive, savvy and well-organised individual, who can identify and develop mutual benefit and value from opportunities with hapū, iwi, Māori businesses or organisations, build confidence and skills in others, and flourish in a team environment. They will also be an excellent and trusted communicator, listener and observer, and possess a high level of integrity and resilience.

While the successful incumbent could be based elsewhere, they would need to be physically present on our Palmerston North campus at least half of their working time. We are open to part-time or full-time arrangements.
