Are you a highly motivated individual with an eye for detail? Do you have a passion for health and wellbeing? We are seeking an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our dynamic team at the AUT Human Potential Centre.

In this fixed-term 0.5 FTE position ending September 1st, 2025, you will play a critical role in supporting a key research project at the Human Potential Centre, Te Ngako Oranga (Reversing Type 2 Diabetes) with the potential of being involved in other projects, when time allows.  As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of research studies, collecting and managing data, and contributing to preparation of reports and presentations.

As an ideal candidate, you are a proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for health and wellbeing. You show initiative and have leadership skills. You are a quick learner and have excellent organisational abilities and communication skills. Having existing skills in focus group analysis using NVIVO and previous experience in public health research is a plus.
