Position Overview
Are you ready for your next project and keen to stamp your mark on developing and implementing new laboratory processes and compliance practices for our new Innovation Complex and Watson Laboratories.

Massey University are proud of our new Innovation Complex. It is a world class research and teaching laboratory complex and it is designed as a shared multidisciplinary facility and as such requires an advanced approach to the operation and management of functions within the facility. The Watson Laboratories are likewise a similar facility where teaching is the key focus.

The Research and Teaching Laboratories Operations Co-ordinator (superstar) is responsible for the delivery of efficient, effective, and safe operation of research and teaching related activities in the Innovation Complex and Watson Laboratories on the Auckland Campus. This is a two year fixed term opportunity that will give the job holder satisfaction and reward and engender support and safety for Massey’s laboratory users.
About you | Ko koe tēnei
- A tertiary science qualification e.g. Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
- Broad science research and laboratory management experience.
- Advanced understanding of laboratory safety, legislative and compliance requirements.
