We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Recruitment Coordinator working 22.5 hours per week, within our vibrant university community. 

The successful candidate will work in a role where they seek to provide a seamless recruitment experience for our hiring managers and candidates and will: 

  • Provide administrative support for our busy permanent and fixed term recruitment activity. 
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of recruitment and contract administrative experiences. 
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts across various departments and faculties, working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs. 
  • Support the integration of Te Reo Māori and Te Ao Māori principles into our recruitment practices, fostering a culturally rich and inclusive environment.   
  • Collaborate with our HR team to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including those related to equity and diversity.  

To excel in this role, you will need: 

  • Previous administration experience within a high-volume environment 
  • Experience using SnapHire (or other recruitment e-tool) also advantageous. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, on own initiative and as part of a team. 
  • A 'can do' attitude. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
