Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
Do you want to play a critical role in the growth of the fundraising program here at the University of Canterbury? If so, this role may be perfect for you!

The Prospect Development Analyst is Advancement's subject matter expert in prospect development, providing strategic support and guidance to key stakeholders and business partners. Under the direction of the Advancement Services Manager, you will establish the foundations for best practice prospect research and donor portfolio management of our current and prospective donors, ensuring major gift fundraisers are provided with critical research and information throughout the donor lifecycle and are equipped with donor portfolios that provide the best opportunity for success. Your efforts will provide a solid foundation for UC to substantially increase its fundraising efforts for years to come.

To enhance your chances of success in your application, your track record should reflect adept project management skills, encompassing the management of multiple sizable projects concurrently. You are performance-driven with the ability to recognise key success factors and skills required to achieve goals, whilst also having strong data analysis, written, and verbal communication skills. You are curious about others and the connections between. When new tools are provided in your industry, you are one who is eager to learn and adopt them, leading you to be familiar with developing and implementing business processes and procedures. Experience in advancement or fundraising, preferably for a large organisation, as well as your strong relationship management skills will be advantageous.
