AUT Commercial Services manages all commercial activities across AUT. This includes a diverse property portfolio of lessees and lessors covering sites across the Auckland region and encompasses all aspects of property management, from small retail units to high rise tower blocks.

About the role

You will assist in achieving AUT's property strategy in relation to leasing and support the maturity of our property management standards. Your day to day will be quite varied and you could be involved in anything from negotiating leases, dealing with tenant issues or landlords, preparing lease documentation, commercial activities like vending and advertising and dealing with operational landlord issues. This role is varied and diverse and will give you exposure that will broaden your experience and give you wide scope for initiative.

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in property and/or facilities lease management
• 5 years' experience in a commercial lease environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
• Strong relationship management skills

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000  (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
